How is your practice different from a traditional practice?
Traditionally, a doctor may care for a few thousand patients. But in our practice, the number of patients is limited to a few hundred. This is intentional. It allows the doctor to focus on one thing: patient care.
How quickly can I see Dr. Griffin?
Our patients enjoy same day and next day appointments that start on time (no waiting!) and last as long as they need to.
Is there a limit to how many times I can see the doctor?
You may see Dr. Griffin as often as you require.
Can I email or call Dr. Griffin’s directly?
Dr. Griffin is available via email and cell phone 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Do you draw labs?
Labs are drawn in-office and will be covered according to your individual insurance plan. We have affordable self-pay rates if you have a high-deductible plan or do not have insurance.
What if I am hospitalized?
Dr. Griffin will work closely with hospital staff and/or a hospitalist. Dr. Griffin is on staff at Memorial Hospital, Tampa General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
What about house calls?
House calls are made when a patient is too ill to come in to the office. Additionally, Dr. Griffin sees a handful of patients solely within their residence.
Do I pay each time I see Dr. Griffin?
No. The membership fee covers all office visits and services.
What is not covered by the annual patient fee?
Labs, radiology, hospitalization, and specialist visits are not included and will be covered according to your individual insurance plan.
Will my insurance or Medicare cover the membership fee?
Neither insurance nor Medicare will cover or reimburse the membership fee. However, you may use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flex Spending Account to pay for Dr. Griffin’s services.
